Alana Salazar is an experienced audiologist who has been practicing for more than 20 years in a variety of settings. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in speech, language and hearing through the University of Kansas and her master’s degree in audiology from the University of Kansas Medical Center. Her career in Audiology began in Salem, Massachusetts, where she completed her certificate in clinical competency (CCC’s) through the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA) working for Massachusetts General Hospital for Children at North Shore Medical Center.
Ms. Salazar has held various positions within the field of Audiology from pediatric, educational and developmental audiologist to regional manager with one of the world’s largest hearing aid manufacturers. She also has extensive experience with diagnostic audiology as well as hearing aid selection, fitting and verification of all ages.
Ms. Salazar has been a resident of Bedford, Massachusetts for more than 15 years. She lives there with her son Patrick and their cat Noisy, who always lives up to his name. She is licensed to practice in both Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
